Partnered with the NHL, NHL street, and RCX sports, Saturday Street Hockey is designed to provide kids and their families the best of what youth hockey can be: having fun, staying active, making friends, and creating great memories. When you join you can expect a fast-paced game that teaches teamwork, creativity, and resilience. No ice, limited rules, and unlimited fun!
$180 for early registration dates (extended to May 1)
$220 for waitlist (after May 1)
What Players Receive:
- Official NHL reversible jersey
- Street Hockey stick
What the Team Receives:
- Goalie equipment and Goal
- Head Coach receives a pack of NHL Street balls
Season Format:
6 Regular Season games
- 15 minute warm-up
- 3, 12 minute periods
- 2, 2 minute intermissions
11 players per team
5 vs 5 format
Equal playing time.
Optional practice can be held once a week
Last two weeks is a single elimination Championship
NO Tryouts. NO Drafts. Rosters are formed by "friend" or "coach" request. Single players will be placed on teams.
ALL coaches, referees, scorekeepers, and timekeepers are volunteers.
Championship and Runner up gifts are awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners of the grade division
**Each team requires a team sponsorship before the first game.

Players will be grouped with in the following divisions:
- 6U (5-6)
- 8U (7-8)
- 10U (9-10)
- 12U (11-12)
- 14U (13-14)

Summer Season
- June 6 - August 1, 2026 (skipping July 4 weekend)
- June 6, 13, 20, 27
- July 11, 18, 25

Game time slots:
- 6U (9AM-10AM)
- 8U (10AM-11AM)
- 10U (11AM-12PM)
- 12U (12PM - 1PM)
- 14U (1PM - 2PM)

Where
Practices
Teams are able to practice one time per week. Practice times and locations will be based on coach and team availability.
Games
Teams will play 6 regular games over the course of the season, and 1-2 weeks of playoffs.
Games are on the Saturdays!
Jerseys & Stick
Both an NHL branded team jersey and street hockey stick will be included with registration AT NO ADDITIONAL COST!
Extra Costs (not required)
At registration and during the season you will have the ability to purchase extra sticks, NHL street gloves, street balls, mouth guard, and more.
Playoffs
2 weeks of Playoffs following end of regular season. The winners of the championship will receive personalized championship hockey pucks and the chance to hold up the Yelnats Cup!
Frequently Asked Questions
What hockey gear is required to play?
The only gear that is required to play are a stick and tennis shoes. You are permitted to wear other gear such as shoulder and/or shin pads, a mouth guard, and protective glasses/goggles at player's discretion.
Do you have payment plans available?
Yes, we offer flexible payments plans that are required to be paid off before the season ends. A minimum of $50 is required at registration. Additional taxes and fee may apply.
When does registration close?
Late registration will close May 1st. This gives us the ability to order jerseys and build the team rosters. Any registration after May 1st will be placed on a waitlist and incur additional fees, if slotted to play.
Is there going to be a tryout?
No tryouts, players will learn, play, and grow on the team!
Is this Co-ed?
Yes, the league is co-ed for all ages and divisions.
How does the team sponsorship work?
Team sponsorships are made to help cover the cost of the team gear to include practice equipment (goals, balls, goalie equipment, etc.). The sponsorship also allows businesses to attach themselves to growing youth sports and hockey in the community.
Is this only going to be in the summer or will there be other seasons?
This is our inaugural season but Saturday Street will be offered in both the fall and spring. Gametimes will be adjusted in fall and spring to help accommodate ice hockey practice times that are held Saturdays. Stay tuned here on our site and social medias for fall registration opening.
