Saturday Street Hockey
Partnered with the NHL, NHL street, and RCX sports, Saturday Street Hockey is designed to provide kids and their families the best of what youth hockey can be: having fun, staying active, making friends, and creating great memories. When you join you can expect a fast-paced game that teaches teamwork, creativity, and resilience. No ice, limited rules, and unlimited fun!
What Players Receive:
- Official NHL reversible jersey
- Street Hockey stick
What the Team Receives:
- Goalie equipment and Goal
- Head Coach receives a pack of NHL Street balls
Season Format:
6 Regular Season games
- 15 minute warm-up
- 3, 12 minute periods
- 2, 2 minute intermissions
5 vs 5 format
Equal playing time.
Optional practice can be held once a week
Last two weeks is a single elimination Championship
NO Tryouts. NO Drafts. Rosters are formed by "friend" or "coach" request. Single players will be placed on teams.
ALL coaches, referees, scorekeepers, and timekeepers are volunteers.
Championship and Runner up gifts are awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners of the grade division
**Each team requires a team sponsorship before the first game.
Ages
Players will be grouped with in the following divisions:
- 6U (6)
- 8U (7-8)
- 10U (9-10)
- 12U (11-12)
- 14U (13-14)

Practices
Teams are able to practice one time per week.
Games
Teams will play 6 regular games over the course of the season.

Jerseys & Stick
Both an NHL branded team jersey and street hockey stick will be included with registration AT NO ADDITIONAL COST!
Extra Costs (not required)
At registration and during the season you will have the ability to purchase extra sticks, NHL street gloves, street balls, mouth guard, and more.
Playoffs
2 weeks of Playoffs following end of regular season. The winners of the championship will receive personalized championship hockey pucks and the chance to hold up the Yelnats Cup!
Frequently Asked Questions
What hockey gear is required to play?
The only gear that is required to play are a stick and tennis shoes. You are permitted to wear other gear such as shoulder and/or shin pads, a mouth guard, and protective glasses/goggles at player's discretion.
Do you have payment plans available?
Yes, we offer flexible payments plans that are required to be paid off before the season ends. A minimum of $50 is required at registration. Additional taxes and fee may apply.
When does registration close?
Late registration will close May 1st. This gives us the ability to order jerseys and build the team rosters. Any registration after May 1st will be placed on a waitlist and incur additional fees, if slotted to play.
Is there going to be a tryout?
No tryouts, players will learn, play, and grow on the team!
